He'll Hear You

Psalm 107:4-6 “They wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way; they found no city to dwell in. Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them. Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses.”

The church, like the children of Israel, has made an Exodus from the ways of the world to travel in a solitary way through a wilderness of time. We've accepted the invitation to a life of salvation, redemption and promise. We have committed ourselves to forsaking that which  all that had us bound to walk in the leading of our Lord without any certainties of the length of the journey or the obstacles we would face ahead.

The bible says that man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedth from the mouth of God. And yet, many of us have found ourselves suffering from spiritual malnutrition. However, I've come to realize that this is not do to the Father's neglect but our own failure to ask God for what we need to sustain us along the way.

A Witness Shaped By Wisdom

And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and all discernment; so that ye may approve the things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and void of offence unto the day of Christ; (Philippians 1:9-10 ASV)

How much do you love The Lord? For me, He is my all and all. What a privilege it is to know Christ and to have the mind of the Savior. What a blessing it is to have the Spirit of truth dwelling within us to discern what is pleasing and right according to the good pleasure of God.

As we seek the wisdom of God we are able to walk steadfast in The Lord. We're able to serve with a sincere heart and share the truth of the gospel without casting shame on the name of God. He is so worthy of honor and glory. I pray that each day the wonder and awesomeness of God be magnified in all the earth through his chosen people.
